Monica McGill

Monica McGill, Analyst, PCMH CCE

Monica McGill is an Analyst in Recognitions Operations at the National Committee for Quality Assurance. As a PCMH CCE, Ms. McGill guides practice sites through the recognition process by reviewing their specific challenges and assessing where the practice stands compared to the requirements for Recognition. Once enrolled, Ms. McGill interacts regularly with practices through the online portal to provide feedback on content related questions, uploading evidence, payment issues, account access, as well as to monitor progress.

Ms. McGill is a highly engaged, intuitive, and collaborative leader who recently served as NCQA’s DEI council co-chair where she worked to drive key DEI initiatives and actions across the organization beginning with the development of the DEI council charter. Using DEI strategy and thought leadership, Ms. McGill coordinated efforts including NCQA programs around DEI awareness and inclusion and overseeing DEI council subcommittees.

Ms. McGill attended Virginia State University and in addition to her PCMH CCE, has earned certifications in Health Care and the Aging Adult from University of Maryland University College and Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from University of South Florida, MUMA College of Business. 

Jess Tomko

Jess Tomko, PCMH CCE

Jess Tomko is a Manager of Recognition Policy at NCQA. Her responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of PCMH resources and providing support to practices going through transformation or annual review. 

Prior to NCQA, Jess spent over 13 years in healthcare administration, where she successfully led primary care, specialty, and surgical practices under the direction of  various stakeholders (private practice, community health systems, private equity, etc.). She effectively led practice transformations, strategic planning, M&A’s, compliance integrations, and quality initiatives throughout her roles.

Jess also has extensive experience with various EHR's, HIT and data reporting. Jess’s professional interests include healthcare operations, compliance, and quality improvement. She has a particular interest in health equity and practice burnout.

Jess earned her B.S. from George Mason University and has been an NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert (PCMH CCE) since 2023.

 

Beth Wonji

 Beth Wonji, MA

Beth Wonji is a Manger of Recognition Programs at NCQA. Her responsibilities include evaluating transforming and annual reporting practices and supporting organizations navigating the recognition process.

Prior to joining NCQA, Beth served as a Business Analyst in the PMO department at Molina Healthcare in Long Beach. She has experience supporting various health care organizations with project/program management, population health, administration and management, policy management, and compliance. 

Beth holds a BS in Health Care Administration and a MA in Public Administration with emphasis on Public Policy from California State University Long Beach. Beth has been a NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert (PCMH CCE) since 2020.
