2023 LTSS Best Practices Academy Membership

The LTSS Best Practices Academy is an interactive forum for professionals to discuss strategies for coordinating quality LTSS programs. The academy fosters informative discussions and enriching information exchanges. For more information about the Academy, visit our website here. 

Since its launch in 2017, the Academy has continuously improved its benefits based on member feedback. The 2023 Academy features live, interactive education sessions and access to recordings and materials if unable to attend a live event. There is an Academy newsletter that highlights industry news, suggested reading, educational opportunities, and an overview of a case management practice standard. In addition, the Ready Reference resource index is an exclusive benefit. 

Membership for community-based organizations is $452. Health plans, consultants, and all other organizations is $1124. The annual membership fee covers one legal entity, however multiple individuals within that entity may participate under that membership.

Important note: To ensure timely access to the Academy, delegate registration to one person at your organization. This person will receive instructions and the code to be utilized by subsequent registration of employees of the same legal entity. Instructions and the code are sent upon completion of the registration transaction.

1. 2023 Member Introduction & LMS Demonstration Course

This 30-minute session provides an overview of Academy resources and a walk through of the website.

2. 2023 Getting Organized for NCQA Accreditation Course

This session introduces the Roadmap to Success in LTSS and reviews Chapter 3 topics of: Leadership support Team formation Gap Analysis Timeline & Prioritization of Preparation Implementing Change and Ongoing Monitoring Performance Strategies for Survey preparation are discussed for initial and renewal reviews.

3. 2023 Person-Centered Assessment

Our expert panel discusses applicable case management practice standards, NCQA standards, survey tips, and a real-life case study to examine person-centeredness assessment concepts.

4. 2023 Person-Centered Care Planning

Our expert panel discusses applicable case management practice standards, NCQA standards, survey tips, and a real-life case study to expand upon assessment findings to create authentic person-centered care plans and the importance of an ongoing monitoring process.

5. 2023 Measurement & Outcomes | Quality Improvement

This session delves into the quality improvement cycle and types of measures. Strategies for a successful survey and frequently asked questions regarding the standards are discussed.

6. 2023 Care Transitions

Our expert panel discusses applicable case management practice standards, NCQA standards, survey tips, and a real-life case study to discuss challenges of care transitions.

7. LTSS Accreditation & Distinction Standards Updates​

In this session, NCQA subject-matter experts introduce the updates to LTSS accreditation and distinction standards.

8. Member Choice - Person-Centered Assessment, Care Planning & Monitoring
