The Onsite review of files or Virtual review of files is one of the final steps in the NCQA survey process that heavily involves the surveyor. File Review generally lasts about 1-2 days depending on the product type and number of file reviews. At this stage of the NCQA survey process, It is the surveyor’s responsibility to conduct the file review, score applicable elements in IRT, and present the closing conference presentation to the organization.
