Hospital at Home is an innovative patient care model that picked up traction during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is growing in the U.S. and internationally, and is part of the expanding movement to deliver health care in people’s homes. While early success with the model shows feasibility, improved outcomes and lower costs for certain patients with select conditions and building consensus across providers, payers and policymakers is key for ensuring long-term success for this emerging model.
