John Olsen, PharmD
John Olsen, PharmD, has 18+ years of pharmacy experience and has held both clinical and management roles in Pharmacare, CarePlus and Walgreens. In 2012, John cofounded and was CEO of Encompass Rx, a specialty pharmacy based in Atlanta and licensed in all 50 states. In 2014, Dr. Olsen co-founded MS-Rx, a specialty pharmacy focused on multiple sclerosis (MS), in partnership with a leading United States MS Center. He has also been a preceptor for multiple pharmacy schools and was Entrepreneur in Residence at the Advanced Technology Development Center at Georgia Tech, Georgia’s Technology Incubator, where he coached health tech startups. He has been published in Life, American Liver Foundation and Journal of Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy and is an active “angel investor” and an advisory board member for several health technology companies.
Jordana Baron, MPH, MBA
Jordana Baron, MPH, MBA a manager for the Product Development team at NCQA. In this role she oversee the development of the NCQA program, Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation. Prior to entering the product world, Jordana dedicated six years to Operation Smile – a children’s medical charity that provides cleft lip and cleft palate reconstructive surgery in low- and middle-income countries. There, she led a team that formulated and implemented cleft eradication strategies in key Central American countries, scaling surgical programming by 80%. She is most proud of developing and implementing a patient accompaniment program to help the hardest to reach patients access timely care. While pursuing dual masters degrees, she interned with CVS Health’s Pharmacy Strategy and Product Innovation team. She holds an MPH and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
