CCE Quarterly: CCE Quality Roundtable: Reflecting, Adjusting and Getting Back on Track in 2021

Join NCQA leadership and CCE faculty for a round table discussion about how they prioritize patient-care during challenging times and how they stay on track with PCMH priorities. Faculty will review how PCMH practices readjusted quality improvement activities during this past year. Participants are asked to complete the pre-evaluation survey to share their successes as well as to help us identify priority topics they would like faculty to discuss. Lisa Slattery, Vice President, Accreditation and Recognition Operations

Lisa joined NCQA in 2016. She oversees operations, customer support and program integrity. She is responsible for the growth and delivery of all NCQA evaluation programs, including Health Plan Accreditation and PCMH Recognition. With more than 25 years of leadership experience in health care quality in hospitals, health plans and integrated delivery systems, Slattery has led initiatives in value-based purchasing, population health, physician home visiting, readmission prevention, complex case management, utilization management, credentialing, software design and implementation and data analytics. Before joining NCQA, she worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee as Vice President, Enterprise Quality, and directed corporate clinical quality strategy across the commercial, Medicaid and Medicare lines of business. Slattery began her career as a physical therapist, and held several executive positions at Health First, Inc. She is a graduate of the University of Florida and North Carolina State University.

Amy Tennant, PCMH CCE

Amy Tennant is a Policy Manager in NCQA’s Recognition Programs Policy and Resources. In this role, she creates and maintains PCMH resources, manages product updates and provides policy support and expertise to customers, PCMH CCEs and NCQA Evaluators. She started at NCQA in the Product Development department where she supported the development of recognition programs including the redesign of the PCMH standards for 2017, Patient-Centered Specialty Practice School-Based Medical Home and the creation of the Oncology Medical Home, the first recognition program created for a specific medical specialty. Before starting her career at NCQA, she was an intern at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital where she worked on reducing medication reconciliation errors and incidence of outpatient falls. She obtained her Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a BS in Healthcare Management and Policy from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
